Subscriptions

How do I cancel nuvela Plus?

Open your Apple subscription settings, or go to iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all App Store payments, so we can’t issue refunds ourselves. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I paid, but Plus isn’t active

Use Restore Purchases in the app, and make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy Plus. If it still isn’t active, email us.

Reminders and app pausing

I’m not getting reminders

Check that notifications are on for nuvela in iOS Settings, then check your reminder times in the app. Focus modes can also silence reminders.

How do I stop pausing apps at night?

Turn off app pausing in the app. Your apps go back to normal right away.

Your data

Where is my data stored?

Your records are stored on your iPhone by default. If you create an optional account, they’re also backed up to our servers. Our Privacy Policy has the details, including how data is shared with the providers we use.

How do I export or delete my data?

Go to Profile in the app to export your records as a CSV file or delete them.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile in the app and choose Delete Account. This removes your account and synced data from our servers. You can also email us to ask for deletion. If you have a subscription, cancel it separately with Apple.

How do I turn off AI features or Apple Health?

You can withdraw permission for AI features in the app at any time. To disconnect Apple Health, use the iOS Settings app. nuvela keeps working without either one.

Health questions

nuvela supports rest habits, but it does not diagnose or treat sleep disorders. If poor sleep affects you often, talk to a health professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
